What are your favorite books and authors?
I like Melody Carlson's series' Diary of a Teenage Girl and The Secret Life of Samantha McGregor.
I also really like A Little Princess by Francis Hodgson Burnett because Sara doesn't let others define her worth or affect her attitude and how she acts.

I love books with happy endings and ones that portray girls and young women as educated and having the ability to cope in society instead of breaking them down! ;) Anne of Green Gables for instance is great...(I know it's an oldie but a goodie!)

I really like the Love Comes Softly Series by Jannette Oke.
I also like Little House on the Prairie and most other books I've read.

Well, I've always been cr-aaaa-zzy about mysteries. Mostly Geurtrude Chandler Warner's series, The Boxcar Children. I don't really like books if they aren't mysteries, unless they are really,really good.

I love the series by J.B. Jenkins um... Red Rock Mysteries. and I also love The Tatooed Rats by J.B. Jenkins and someone else (I can't remember who)

I have read all 14 or 15 books of the Red Rock Mysteries and I love them

i love the clique series too! its a great series by lisi harrison about 5 popular girls who do anything to keep their body image well(the make-up and boys kind). i also love the tale of desperaux by.... i can't remember who. i really like the book mountain solo by .....someone i also can't remember.

Well, i usally like books with adventure, exitment, mystery and lots more. But the kind that i like best are the ones where i feel Jesus Christ the most.

I LOVE the Warrior books. They are about clans of feral cats. (Wild cats with domestic breeds)They say it's by Erin Hunter but that's just a pen name. It's really written by lots of people.

I don't know what my favorite book is - I find picking favorites rather tricky - but I do have a few things to say. For the person who didn't know who wrote Desperaux: it's Kate DiCamillo. (Sorry I don't know your name, I couldn't find the post you wrote.) Chocolatedog (who is my sister): No offense, but it's called Warriors (plural). I like Warriors too, but I've only read the first book, Into the Wild. We own the second one, Fire and Ice, but I can't find it.
