how does it make you guys feel, when kids 9 and adults) are messing with their cells during church? Or while there at a check-out counter in a store???

Well, itmakes me feel like the world has become so high-tech once u get money for a "in" thing it's "out" 4 example the mp3 player camera phone and now its the i phone
and same thing with clothes purses shoes computers u name it

Cell phones...what a necessary evil! I can't remember what I did b4 it came along! There does need to be certain "etiquette" though for cell phones...like in church they should absolutely not be able to be used even for texting...but how would such a thing be regulated??

I definately think that cell phone use during Church is a no-no. But what bugs me is when I'm talking to a friend and they're sitting there and start texting someone, or they get a call from a girl or guy from World's of Fun they gave they're number to (that actually happened once with my neighbor) and then they ignore me.
I actually don't have a cell phone yet because I lead a rather boring (lol) life and don't (at least, according to my parents) need one, so I guess I can't judge because I might do the same if I had one. But still, it does kind of hurt my feelings.

That is SO rude! I can't stand it when I'm trying to have a conversation with someone and they start texting somebody like I'm not even there! We should have etiquette for cell phone users!

I think that it would be cool to have a cell-phone sometimes but, none of my friends do, so what's the point anyway!!???!

My Mom said I have to be a tiny bit older to have a celphone, but she'll only let me call 911 and my realitives when I do! No calling of friends till I get out of school! (In College) So what's the point?!?!

That is really annoying. I don't have a cell phone either because I'm really shy about calling people and I have like two friends so it's not like I have much of a use for it. In addition I'm very bad at just talking while I'm on a phone, if we're standing together maybe something will happen we can talk about, maybe I will think of something to say, but if we're silent, it's not much of a problem. Instead of a phone, I want an Ipod or, even better, a camera! Especially one that also makes videos; I don't want it if it can't shoot videos. I got pretty far off topic, didn't I? :)

i don't have a cell phone yet, but most of my friends do, i really want one, but I have to wait until next year when I can get a job and pay for it myself. I have a lot of friends (guys and girls) who i would love to be able to text, but for now I have to settle for face to face lol
